Bethan Dorsett is the designer behind Happy Felines which began on a social network. Bethan had posted her silly doodles on Facebook, ranging from her own RSPCA rescue cat Rupert to polar bears and narwhals. Having left school without even an art GCSE - Bethan was encouraged to take French instead which now extends to being able to order a chocolate ice cream - she was taken aback by the comments made by her kind relatives and friends. So, with encouragement, Happy Felines was launched.
Much of the artwork is first created with paper and pencil before being designed on a much fancier computer programme. Others are created using good old ink and card. All which Bethan thinks, reflect the character of her chosen subject - be it quizzical sheepdogs, silly cats in party hats or the highly sarcastic Bad Cat, who we have all I'm sure met at some point.
